Tanzania Red Ribbon Fashion Gala - 2010

The Tanzania Red Ribbon Gala 2010 fundraising event, organized by the Tanzania Mitindo House and the Flaviana Matata Foundation, raised 24 million Tshs that all went towards helping the Tanzania Mitindo House Orphange Center. The money helped the center purchase a car and a piece of land in the Salasala, where the Vodacom Foundation will build them a permanent orphanage as they are currently renting. The rest of the money was used to pay for one full year's where they are temporarily running the orphanage.
